I'm Stephanie, a wife, lawyer, and adoptive mom to two sweet boys, born a week shy of 18 months apart. As you can guess it, my life's superbly chaotic and every day has it's own new adventure, but I wouldn't have it any other way! I began this journey years before I actually ever made the decision to adopt: it began FOR me when I was 3 and had stage IV cancer and treatments which would wreak havoc on my body and my ability to later have bio kids. It possibly even began before THAT when my grandparents adopted my father, way back in 1948 and spoke the joys and love of adoption until the day of their deaths. Either way, it was where I was headed in life to become a mom, and though the journey hasn't always been smooth or free from bumps in the road, it is uniquely our journey and I'd go through it all again to have my boys right where they are now, and to have gained not ONE but TWO amazing birth families with them to share our lives with. I live, breathe, and praise adoption every single day! Without it, I wouldn't be what I've wanted since I was as young as I can remember: to be a mommy!
